What do we do?
Compassion for the Disabled Uganda is a media advocacy organisation based in Kampala District. Our mission is to amplify the voices of persons with disabilities through media and inspire action for a more inclusive Uganda.We believe persons with disabilities are the best advocates for their own welfare. We do not speak for them. We give them the platform, the microphone, and the space to speak for themselves and demand the change they need.Our commitment goes beyond the microphone. When members of our community fall sick or face hardship, we show up, stand beside them, and offer the compassionate support they need to rise again.
